At Harris, our passion is providing Australians with great coffee. Since 1883 we’ve been blending and roasting coffee in our Sydney Roastery. As one of Australia’s original coffee roasters, we continue to perfect our coffee blends whilst keeping to our tried and tested philosophy that continues to serve us well: Good beans, locally roasted, and packed fresh for you to brew a great cup of coffee. ​

But for us it’s more than just great coffee. It’s supporting the people and the place that we call home. That’s why through our Harris Coffee Fund we give back 1% of our annual turnover to support causes and initiative that Australians care about. And, it’s why we continue to make our products more sustainable by investing in recyclable packaging and organic coffee.

For all Harris product labelled with a Responsibly Sourced claim, an equivalent volume of coffee has been purchased from an industry recognised responsible sourcing program. What does Responsible Sourcing mean?​

Responsible sourcing means our raw materials, packaging, equipment, or anything we produce, are produced following principles that address their possible social and environmental impact. ​

How do we source coffee responsibly?​

​

We continue to engage with farmers and situations in our sourcing regions to understand challenges, and actively address these issues to drive progress to ensure every cup contributes to a better future. Together with our partners, we are supporting Farmer Programmes, to address specific needs of farming communities across the globe. We support small scale farmers on their journey towards sustainable practices through farmer initiatives and third-party verification. We also support the efforts of the most advanced farmers through certification programmes. ​
